On Monday, May 11, 2009, a buddy and I went on our annual trout trip to the White River in Arkansas. We drove from Houston the the campground at Cotter (640 miles) in one day, and stayed in a cabin. We fished 3 days from a boat with a guide and used only artificials and ultralight spinningt gear. We caught 40 to 50 fish a day, and kept only 20 rainbows to bring home, which is the legal possession limit for teo people. We released all the brown trout and all the large rainbows. We drove home on Friday. It was a great trip.
